Daily d-i images for i386 not being built?
(too old to reply)

Hi,

I noticed that the link to the daily built netinst image for i386 is "Not found" currently:
<https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/daily-builds/daily/arch-latest/i386/iso-cd/>
on
<https://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/index.en.html>

The directory is not existing.

Is this a known issue?

Ah, sorry.
By accident I found a bug against release-notes, which documents that
i386 d-i images will be dropped for trixie.
<https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1036358>

So, sorry for the noise.

OTOH I would then remove the i386 link from
<https://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/index.en.html>
now?

I searched for a confirmation, that this was dropped from debian-cd,
but found nothing.

Should I just remove the link nevertheless?

d-i daily builds will keep i386, so don't drop that link. Links to
debian-cd locations can go away. The lack of symmetry might require
tweaking some wml logic/definitions.

So no more netinst images, but the "Other images" section will stay (netboot images, hd-media ...)?

Is that correct?

So no more netinst images,
And any other sections about CD, DVD, etc. must go.

Right, only that one stays.
